I love your choice of colours! Your paintings seem to be of another world, and yet so... alluring. Do you just choose a palette randomly, or do you follow some set system you've found out works? If so, got any tips? ;)

I painted it and then compressed and converted the image to .gif format with a limited palette. It went by pretty quickly actually, this is just a throwaway sketch/experiment.

It looks like numbers: "19, 12, 20, 09".

Very good art! But...

You are truly an amazing drawer, and this piece of art is certainly no exception!

About this particular drawing, you've topped the shadowing, the <em>noir</em> and about everything else. There is just one condition that keeps it from the king of the hills; it feels... positive. That's the problem, I don't know why, but when I look at it, it feels upbeat. And a piece of art with noir as a theme shouldn't do that, it should feel negative.

Anyway, it could just be me. Have a happy spring and summer!
